Polarcode Fall Update

Fall is here, and it’s been too long since we’ve updated this blog, so lets get caught up with some backstory and a series of video releases.

We last left off in July headlining Taste Of Chicago after packing Lincoln Hall for our Supernatural CD release show. Between these shows, we filmed a music video with director Logan Hall for our song My Best Friend in the suburbs of Chicago which got released at the end of July on the same day we performed a set at Wicker Park Fest:

We then followed this up with some live clips and behind-the-scenes footage from our Lincoln Hall show:

We played Taste Of Highland Park at the end of August, and we also landed our first publishing deal with Victoria’s Secret! Our song Breaking My Own Heart is a featured song on a run of 10,000 USB bracelets promoting the Pink campaign. These are being distributed all over the midwest.

So far this September we’ve had two big video releases.

The first, thanks to our manager Sara, was a clip of our My Best Friend music video featured on E! News – our first national TV exposure:

Just after this, we received a nostalgic video trip from Rad Universe edited to our song Supernatural featuring all kinds of gnarly VHS footage:

That officially brings us up to speed as we now head into the next phase of Polarcode!

Taste Of Chicago Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the big day we’ve been working up to for quite some time now. In less than 24 hours we will be headlining the Bud Light Stage at Taste Of Chicago!

We will be playing your favorite Polarcode songs including the new songs off our “Supernatural” EP and some great cover songs by The Police, Muse and more…

Thanks to all of our fans for helping us get to this point. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Supernatural EP – Available online June 10th

We’re happy to announce our new three-song EP “Supernatural” will be available online, June 10th.

Special shout out to Marc Secher for designing the album artwork! Be sure to check out his other slick art and new media design at

Our CD Release show will be on Saturday, June 22nd at Lincoln Hall, so save the date!

This will be a fantastic show; Lincoln Hall is one of the best venues in Chicago with arguably the best sound. We will have physical copies of the new CD available for purchase.
