Polarcode Fall Update

Fall is here, and it’s been too long since we’ve updated this blog, so lets get caught up with some backstory and a series of video releases.

We last left off in July headlining Taste Of Chicago after packing Lincoln Hall for our Supernatural CD release show. Between these shows, we filmed a music video with director Logan Hall for our song My Best Friend in the suburbs of Chicago which got released at the end of July on the same day we performed a set at Wicker Park Fest:

We then followed this up with some live clips and behind-the-scenes footage from our Lincoln Hall show:

We played Taste Of Highland Park at the end of August, and we also landed our first publishing deal with Victoria’s Secret! Our song Breaking My Own Heart is a featured song on a run of 10,000 USB bracelets promoting the Pink campaign. These are being distributed all over the midwest.

So far this September we’ve had two big video releases.

The first, thanks to our manager Sara, was a clip of our My Best Friend music video featured on E! News – our first national TV exposure:

Just after this, we received a nostalgic video trip from Rad Universe edited to our song Supernatural featuring all kinds of gnarly VHS footage:

That officially brings us up to speed as we now head into the next phase of Polarcode!

Thank You April!

Thank you for being at our rehearsals, taking sound notes, charting our input list, learning our set list, telling us which cables to use, giving us the biggest sounding drums we’ve ever heard, and simply making us feel comfortable in knowing everything would work out great live. It sure did, and we couldn’t have been happier! Looking forward to many many more shows with you…
